                          Panevėžys is:

                          • 5th largest city in Lithuania;
                          • Population 90 000 (96%- Lithuanians);
                          • Area 50 km²;
                          • The largest industrial and cultural hub in Northern Lithuania;
                          • Halfway between two Baltic capitals - Vilnius and Riga (less than 2 hours away from each);
                          • Via Baltica (European route E 67) highway, connecting Warsaw to Tallinn and Helsinki,runs through the city;
                          • Rail Baltica (currently under construction) will connect Helsinki, Tallinn, Pärnu, Riga, Panevežys, Kaunas, Vilnius, Warsaw. There will be both: passengers and freight stations in Panevėžys;
