The Mayor welcomed the Guests from the City of Goes
"I am very pleased to see you in Panevėžys. I am satisfied about successful cooperation and would like to thank the Mayor of Goes for a long- term cooperation between our cities",- said V. Satkevičius.
"Thank you for invitation and hospitality. We are also satisfied with the cooperation. It is good to hear that Panevėžys-Goes Friendship Committee is an active partner. I would like to mention successful cooperation example, common projects with St. Joseph Elderly Home. There is a wish to continue the projects in the future",- stated the Mayor of Goes Mr. Rene Verhulst.
Panevėžys partner cities, investments, Free Economic Zone (FEZ) has been discussed during the meeting. To R. Verhulst, Goes Municipality organises meetings with local businessmen and Panevėžys Free Economic Zone can be presented there in the near future.
The guests have been staying in Panevėžys since Thursday. They visited St. Joseph Elderly Home, Special Education Centre, A. Bandza Children's Home, G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė Library, Puppet Wagon Theatre. They closed the Exhibition of Samplers from Goes History Museum at Panevėžys Local Lore Museum.
