The intention to make a cooperation agreement and to develop the relations in the fields of economy, culture and sports, youth, promotion of information about both cities and exchange of experience of public authorities is expressed by the Letter of Cooperation Intent.

Sightseeing around Panevėžys, visits to the Puppet Wagon Theatre, Panevėžys Energy Company were organised. They also took part in the events dedicated to the National State Day.

At the same time other foreign guests- City of Rustavi, Georgia were welcomed in the City Hall. The Chairman of Rustavi City Council Kacha Gurgenidze, Chairman of Finance and Budget Committee Malchaz Vepchvadze and the Member of the City Council Amiran Tsandishvili visited the city.
