" It is the only Cooperation Agreement in our country between a County and two municipalities abroad. I hope that this unique status will help in developing much promising projects. We would very much appreciate more active cooperation between entrepreneurs and business structures, partnership of cities in the fields of culture, sport, etc.",- said the Ambassador of Romania.

The guest presented the County of Maramures, the achievements in culture, sport, tourism and business. The delegations from Panevėžys City and Panevėžys District Municipalities have been invited to Maramures County Day in September.

"We see that the Ambassador and we are interested in active and productive relations between our cities. We do hope that we will be able to organise Maramures County Days in Panevėžys, make joint business, tourism, culture and sports projects",- said the Mayor R. Račkauskas.

Later, the Ambassador paid a visit to the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.
