                          The Ambassador of France visited Panevėžys

                          The Mayor has presented Panevėžys, its investments, cultural, sports projects and the challenges to the guests.

                          "Since long ago Panevėžys has the traces of France. For many years, the theatre cherished by Maestro Juozas Miltinis has been famous as an island of French culture. Cooperation with the Embassy of France has been continued further on in organising the events of Cultural Capital of Lithuania and other. At present, France is also represented in business. There is a French capital company functiong in the city. Thus, it is a great pleasure to welcome the Ambassador of France here. We hope that the visit will be interesting and friendly relations will help all the people of Panevėžys to know the country of France better", - said R. Račkauskas.

                          The delegation from the Embassy has visited J. Masiulis Bookshop, a French Capital Company "Amilina", Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts of Panevėžys and Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre.
