Kaliningrad, partner city of Panevėžys since 2002, is celebrating its birthday on the 8th of July. As Kaliningrad county governor Aleksandras Jarošukas wrote in the birthday invitation: "Panevėžys wind orchestra band is well-known in Kaliningrad as they have performed here several times already and the people absolutely loved them.  This event is going to strenghten the relationship that Kaliningrad and Lithuanian Republic share together."

"Panevėžys garsas" director Zita Bareikienė has kindly accepted the invitation and said that the orchestra has prepared a new musical program for the show and is going to be delighted to perform at a concert in Kaliningrad.
