Amateur local and foreign music groups will perform at the Gala concert of the festival on the stage in the Old River Bed. They are:Senior Dance Group EŽI of  Andzeli Culture Centre, Daugavpils Senior Folk Dance Group SAIME (Latvia), Folk Dance Group of Tallinn French Lyceum  LEESIKAAD (Estonia), Song and Dance Group CHELMNO (Poland) and Song and Dance Group GORI (Georgia).

On Sunday afternoon the inhabitants are heartly invited to the Old River Bed to enjoy local and foreign guest groups. National costumes will be presented as well.

International Dance and Music Festival "By the River Nevėžis" was organised on May 2004 for the first time.
